Experimentation… The key to your own garden

The key to your own garden in the backyard.

It’s not about, how to pollinate, or even cross breeding.

It’s more about taste. Store bought vegetables and fruit are great. And we have enough to cover any recipe in any cook book on the net.

And then I get this in my inbox.

A steakhouse tomato

Thank you Burpee for this idea. Now personally I see a few uses for this. A big, big, big batch of chilli. Or a canning event.

So let me get back to reality here.

Adding a verity of color to your dishes.

Carrot, Kaleidoscope Blend

After all, the eyes are the first thing to eat with. And what better way than color to do this with.

Yes! Taste is of utmost importance. The tongue, nose, and texture. Play a very important part. But if the eyes are not included in the plan. Then your missing half of the idea in eating.

So experiment in your garden. God knows the store won’t carry these things. And growing is the only, and simple, way to get this.

Besides, fancy restaurants go out of their way to find these. Why not treat your kitchen as one of these special restaurant places.
